I try to live by the motto of never saving anything for a "special occasion". I partly believe that I'm so freakin' classy that I don't need to but I also partly believe that the worst way to die would be with expensive (ha!) champagne in the fridge and foreign perfume in the drawer. Thus, leftover New Year's Eve champagne on a weeknight.
To note: this theory also works for lingerie, port wine, chocolate, gift certificates, keys to coastal apartments, cocktail dresses, sparkly jewelry, suede shorts and $600 Calvin Klein Black Label Italian embossed suede pumps found online for $60. Not sold in los estados unidos.
